Romaneira is located on the Douro river of Portugal, at the heart of Cima Corgo, itself the central of the three production zones for Port and Douro wines. We are located near the township of Cotas, near Pinhao, approx. 2 hours’ drive from Oporto and a little over 3 hours from Lisbon.

How to get to Quinta da Romaneira

From Porto:
1. Follow the A4 to Amarante/Vila Real
2. Follow the IP4 after Vila Real and exit to EN212/N212, taking the direction to Alijó
3. In the centre of Alijó take the road EM597, direction Castedo/Cotas
4. In 15 minutes you will see on your left side the main gate of Quinta da Romaneira

From Lisbon:
1. Follow the A1 road to Porto
2. Exit to E80/A25, direction Aveiro/Viseu
3. Take the A24 road/direction Vila Real
4. Exit to Armamar/Valdigem, and take the N222 road, direction Cotas/Castedo
5. Exit to EM597 road
6. In 5 minutes you will reach Quinta da Romaneira
